WindEurope is the voice of the wind industry, actively promoting wind energy across Europe. We have over 600 members from across the whole value chain of wind energy.
We are looking for an Intern to strengthen our Energy System Integration Team. You will support our work by monitoring, collecting and reporting on electrification, contributing to the development of WindEurope’s policy positions, and supporting the coordination of Working Group activities. You will report to the Senior Advisor for Electrification and Renewable Hydrogen.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Policy monitoring and research: Track and summarise EU and national policy developments related to electrification and industrial decarbonisation;
- Advocacy support: Contribute to briefings, summaries, presentations and background notes supporting WindEurope’s engagement with policymakers and stakeholders;
- Working Group support: Assist in coordinating the activities of the Working Group Electrification;
- Events, meetings and stakeholder engagement: Support the organisation of workshops, webinars and advocacy meetings on electrification and system integration, and assist with WindEurope’s participation in stakeholder platforms and collaboration with external partners.

- Good analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and when presenting;
- Positive, proactive and organised mindset.
Experience:
- Master’s degree in political science, energy policy, economics, engineering or related field;
- Previous exposure to EU energy or industrial policy, renewables or electrification is a plus.
Software:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Languages:
- Very good level of English (written and spoken);
- Any other EU language is a plus.
