School for Business Description
School for Business is one of the three schools at MCNY overseeing the PSC CC 140 Political & Economic Philosophy (Pathway to Careers) course section(s). The selected adjunct professor will be serving under the School for Business in collaboration with other collegewide internal stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Instruction - This is a part-time position for an Adjunct Professor at MCNY, based in the New York City Metropolitan area for on-campus, in-person teaching primarily on day time on Thursdays. School for Business will notify in advance if the day and time for teaching changes in a semester. The Adjunct Professor will be responsible for teaching PSC CC 140 Political & Economic Philosophy undergraduate (Pathway to Careers) course section(s).
Course Management - The Adjunct Professor will also be responsible, under the guidance and supervision of School for Business, for updating syllabus, updating the LMS (Moodle course shell) course contents and updating course materials preferably with Open Education Resources (OER).
