To strengthen our advocacy capacity at EU level, we are opening a new Junior Communication and Advocacy Manager position to support our growing advocacy work.
As Junior Communication and Advocacy Manager, you will:
Support advocacy priorities:Contribute to advocacy campaigns, policy briefs, and public statements that promote All Digital's positions on digital inclusion and education.
Develop visibility opportunities:Proactively identify speaking opportunities, panels, conferences, and events for the CEO and senior representatives, and support the preparation of talking points and background notes.
Strengthen social media advocacy:Support advocacy-driven social media content, with a focus on amplifying policy messages, positions, and visibility moments.
Monitor EU policy developments:Track relevant EU policy files and debates and support the preparation of internal briefings.
Support advocacy events:Assist in the preparation and delivery of advocacy-related events, conferences, and campaigns.
Engage stakeholders:Help maintain advocacy contact lists and support relations with EU institutions, networks, and civil society partners.
Coordinate internally:Work closely with advocacy, events, project, and membership colleagues to align messages and outputs.
You will report to theAdvocacy Manager and receive close coaching in the role, with additional guidance and input from the CEO.
We are looking for someone who:
Is motivated by EU communication and advocacy and digital inclusion issues.
Has 1–3 years of relevant experience in advocacy, communications, or public affairs, ideally with some knowledge of EU institutions and digital/education policy.
Is confident in written and spoken English. Other European languages are an asset.
Is comfortable with social media and interested in policy-driven communication.
Is organised, proactive, and able to manage several tasks in parallel.
Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative, multicultural environment, and eager to learn.
This is aContrat d'Immersion Professionnellefor 6 months, with the possibility of renewal. You'll receive a monthly allowance of €1,077 and work from our Brussels office located in the European Quarter, with some flexibility for remote work based on business needs.
