SEI Asia seeks a Project Finance Officer to oversee the financial management of its diverse and impactful projects, based in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Project Finance Officer is responsible for supporting project and programme financial management activities, reporting to the Director of Operations and Finance, and liaising with consultants, sub-grantees, auditors and other stakeholders.
Main responsibilities: prepare project financial reports in the Unit4 ERP system per funder requirements; review and verify financial supporting documents for compliance; facilitate grant and subcontract management including organizational assessments and financial reviews; examine sub-grantee and consultant expenditure reports; coordinate with Project Leads/Managers on financial reporting; support audit preparation and project closure; recommend corrective actions on financial risks; assist in budget preparation and proposal development.
University degree in accounting, finance or related field with 4+ years experience (or master's with 2+ years); proficiency in bookkeeping, internal controls, general ledger, cash management; experience with multiple currencies and FX hedging; advanced Excel and financial IT systems; fluent Thai with proficient English.
