The National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) is a global alumni network representing nearly 250,000 Americans who have served in the U.S. Peace Corps across 144 countries since 1961. With over 80,000 members and growing, NPCA has been advocating at national and state levels to ensure a stronger and more effective agency since 1981. Through advocacy, networking and skills-building activities, publications, and commitment to service, NPCA promotes peace, friendship, and volunteerism in partnership with our global community, while addressing the needs of current and returning Volunteers. NPCA supports and raises the visibility of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers’ service projects across the U.S. With a network of over 150 Peace Corps affiliate groups, NPCA provides resources, an online alumni platform, and guidance to our affiliate groups. Our goal is to increase and demonstrate the impact of our members beyond their Peace Corps service and help strengthen communities nationwide.
The Editorial Fellow will play a key role in producing and curating content across NPCA’s media platforms, including WorldView magazine, digital newsletters, our website, and social media channels.
This is an ideal opportunity for a person with strong journalism and digital media skills who is passionate about storytelling, global issues, and the Peace Corps community.
