Director Head of Global Public Affairs

Intuit

Position description

Intuit — the global financial technology platform behind TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp — is seeking a Director Head of Global Public Affairs to lead and direct the company's global public affairs function. Based in Washington, DC and reporting to the Vice President of U.S. Federal Advocacy and Global Public Affairs, this executive owns Intuit's public affairs strategy at the global, federal, state, and local levels. The Director of Global Public Affairs is accountable for translating the Global Corporate Affairs and Public Policy (GCAPP) strategy into measurable business outcomes on behalf of Intuit's customers.

This is an executive leadership role. The Director defines the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the global public affairs function; leads a team of public affairs professionals; and exercises broad discretion over how Intuit tells the story of its customers to policymakers. The role leads the team responsible for paid media, strategic alliances, grassroots advocacy, third-party influencer outreach, and Intuit's political action committee (PAC) and policy association engagement — the campaign infrastructure that creates the conditions for Intuit's policy priorities to win.

This position serves as part of the GCAPP team and works directly with colleagues across Legal, Compliance, and Policy (LCPO), Intuit Brand and Marketing, Corporate Communications, Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG), Consumer Group (CG), and Corporate Responsibility teams.

This is a hybrid role with on-site expectations of 3 days per week in our Washington, DC office. We prioritize being together to promote connection and belonging, creativity and innovation, as well as speed, agility, and productivity to accelerate getting work done.
