Global Americans is an independent, nonpartisan think tank committed to providing valuable research and analysis for government officials, business executives, journalists, academics, and others interested in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our mission is to contribute towards a deeper understanding of how public and business policy decisions in the U.S., Latin America, the Caribbean and elsewhere impact each other and the region.
Description
Our unique internship program makes sure that interns get hands-on experience in the Latin America and Caribbean policy space, whether through research, audiovisual, communications, or editorial work.
Our program trains undergraduate and graduate students in the skills and experience needed to begin their careers in the private sector, government, or civil society. Interns play a vital role in the organization’s daily functions and will receive significant career development opportunities, such as: networking with regional leaders and experts, publishing their own analyses, and receiving one-on-one mentorship from our team with decades of experience across Latin America-focused think tanks, political circles, and enterprises.
We are now rolling applications for our internship program. The internship program can be conducted remotely; however, additional opportunities will be available for interns able to work on a hybrid basis in Washington, DC. We also encourage international applicants.
If you feel you meet most of these qualifications, we encourage you to apply to join Global Americans!
