We are seeking to hire a Regional Insights Lead (Monitoring and Evaluation Lead) responsible for our Latin America region. The Regional Insights Lead is primarily responsible for leading regional implementation of the Insights department strategy, practices, and initiatives across the measurement and audit, impact intelligence, and insight generation service areas.

What You’ll do

Insights Strategy Execution

Manages critical processes to establish the region’s evidence base, ensuring that impact and insights are credible, objective, accurate, complete, timely, and relevant. Works collaboratively to lead implementation of the regional Insights strategy, including related budget and operational planning. Supports development and implementation theories of change and performance measurement plans.

Impact Data Governance

Designs and leads the implementation of impact governance, such as guidelines, processes, and tools to meet the organization’s minimum standards for data governance.

Audit

Leads the design, planning, and implementation of region-wide program monitoring visits to verify impact, working closely with partnership and intervention leads. Design and implement regional impact reviews, assessments, and research & evaluations initiatives across a variety of methods.

Impact Intelligence

Leads tracking and analysis of the region’s impact and partnership data and serves as a system champion to support and trains regional staff on the organization’s impact management information system.

Insight Generation and Revenue Support

Leads and/or contributes to the design, implementation, and dissemination of knowledge products applicable to regional activities, manages insights grants, and internal funding budgets. Provides exceptional service and input to proposal development and donor/stakeholder impact reporting

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Individual contributor with no subordinates.

What Makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, social sciences, international development and/or equivalent related working experience.
  • Eight or more years of experience in measurement frameworks, monitoring and evaluation, research, statistics, data systems and analytics, survey development and deployment.
  • Two or more years of experience leading monitoring and evaluation functions.
  • Proficient (written and verbal) in English.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 25% of domestic and international travel.

Being authorized to work in the country posted is a precondition of employment.
