The Lauder Institute invites applications for the position of Kern Leadership Fellow in International Studies. Appropriate candidates will have demonstrated practitioner and/or scholarly expertise in the field of leadership development, and will be able to provide expertise and academic programming support. Duties may include research, writing, guest lecturing, and/or student advising. Experience lecturing and leading professional school students is highly desirable. The length of the appointment is up to one academic year (July 2017-2018), with the possibility of renewal. Remuneration will be based on qualifications, duties, and length of stay.

Minimum Requirements: (1) Senior practitioner with demonstrated high-level leadership role(s) and/or completed PhD or doctorate by the time of appointment; (2) Open to any industry or any social science or humanities discipline; (3) Explicit identification of suitability and expertise based on the preferred qualifications below; and (4) Fluency in at least one language besides English.
Preferred Qualifications: The Lauder Institute especially seeks expertise in the fields of consumption, cultural affairs, finance, natural resources, philanthropy, science and technology, and/or sustainability, especially as applied to government affairs, international business, international finance, and/or international law. In addition, we are especially interested in candidates with experience in the areas of intercultural competency development, designing experiential learning modules, qualitative research methods and/or policy advocacy or research.
