Global Security (GS) protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security operations on a global basis to include ATM, branch and corporate building security and customer safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, fraud investigations and technical security. This mission is executed through the implementation of technology, best-in-class talent, and client collaboration.

The GS Global Intelligence team proactively tracks existing and potential threats across the globe and delivers predictive, actionable intelligence and analysis to help secure the firm's people, technology, facilities and reputation. This position leads Global Intelligence's Executive Protection Intelligence portfolio, driving continual advancement and innovation in Global Intelligence's detection and mitigation of critical security incidents and emerging threats with the potential to impact the firm's senior executives.

This position on the Global Intelligence team is responsible for leading the Executive Protection Intelligence portfolio by proactively integrating and analyzing information to evaluate threats that may impact the firm's senior executives. The ideal candidate must have a high degree of analytic ability and drive, critical thinking skills, project management experience, and exposure to tactical and operational security. The candidate must have the ability to address complex and multidimensional challenges with innovative, rigorous, and inter-disciplinary analytical methods to produce proactive and reliable assessments. They must be technically savvy, able to deal with and work through ambiguity, exhibit flexibility needed to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities, be comfortable leading processes in a priority-driven environment, and be prepared to brief senior firm leadership. Lastly, the candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships and serve in a leadership role on a global intelligence team.

The position is based in New York City.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead Global Intelligence's Executive Protection Intelligence portfolio.
  • Develop strategic plans and drive operational integration with other critical Executive Protection functions in Global Security, to include Threat Management, Aviation and our regional GSOCs.
  • Serve in a critical coordination role with Global Intelligence's regional program leads based in New York, London and Singapore.
  • Design and execute on an open source/social media (OSINT) collection strategy that enables proactive identification of threats to executives.
  • Support senior management updates, including but not limited to tactical, operational, and strategic threats of concern, and brief key assessments to senior leadership.
  • Deliver analytical assessments in clear, succinct, and appropriately caveated products that project credibility, convey recommendations, and reinforce key messages.
  • Drive technological innovation in the Executive Protection Intelligence collection and analytic strategies.
  • Serve in a key leadership role in advancing GS's intelligence strategy as part of Global Intelligence's leadership team.


  • 7+ years relevant work experience in performing research, intelligence analysis, data analysis or investigative work related to protection of employees and executives.
  • Experience in leading projects, with focus on program governance and documentation of procedures.
  • Must be able to handle high-level of pressure associated with complex projects and programs in a demanding customer environment.
  • Must be confident and experienced in handling executive communication (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated negotiation and influence skills with all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in OSINT research.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS or other mapping tool and experience with location-specific threat assessments.
  • Experience with the vendor management lifecycle.
  • Undergraduate degree in Political Science, Psychology, International Affairs, Cyber Security, or related discipline required.
  • Master's degree in a related field desired.
  • Experience in law enforcement, military, or the public sector Intelligence Community a plus.
  • CTM or other security-related certification preferred, but not required.
