About the role

This exciting role is expected to support the work of the ODI Europe team through undertaking responsive pieces of short research and analysis and supporting our policy engagement work including events.

This role will stand at the intersection of ODI’s analytical work and its public-facing engagement. The holder of the role will be expected to be a strong team player, willing to work in a fast paced environment.

About you

The European policy and events internship role would suit candidates that are interested in working on European policy, research and analysis. You will have a keen interest in key themes such as global affairs, development cooperation, inequality, technology, climate, migration, trade, or conflict and a demonstrable ability to stay abreast of the news agenda around relevant topics.

We welcome candidates with strong political awareness, interpersonal skills, writing skills and judgement. You will also have excellent organisation and communication abilities, and be a strong team player.

Closing date: Applications will close on 10th July 2024, but shortlisting and interviews will be completed on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.

Interview date: Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.

This role will be based in Brussels, Belgium. To be considered you will need to confirm your Right to Work in Belgium only.
