  • Represent KFF as a national policy expert on the health and well-being of immigrants at external events and with the media.
  • Collaborate with KFF’s communications team and staff across KFF program areas to facilitate effective communication of work and advance opportunities for cross-program work.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to understanding and researching issues related to health and well-being of immigrant families, including in-depth understanding of health policies for immigrants.
  • Superb written and verbal communications skills, including demonstrated experience writing and speaking about complex policy issues and quantitative data for a lay audience.
  • Experience synthesizing secondary data and conducting health policy analysis.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills, with a preference for database and statistical programming experience.
  • Ability to communicate data analysis and research findings clearly through data visualizations, including tables, charts, and figures.
  • Ability to work independently on concurrent projects and balance multiple priorities, with strong project management skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively work in teams and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal staff and members of the external policy and research community
