About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our organisation. The role includes being the lead staff person preparing for a major Guide and Scout event being held in July 2018 (Roverway 2018), taking forward a gender mainstreaming pilot with 11 national Guide associations and contributing to our work to help Guide associations worldwide build their understanding and delivery of leadership and a quality girl experience. You will work closely with colleagues, senior volunteers and national associations.
As the successful candidate, you will have significant experience in programme management with experience of youth organisations in Europe.
You will have a great track record of building, maintaining effective internal and external relationships, developing cross-functional working with staff and volunteers in the UK and internationally.
It is essential that you can demonstrate experience of reporting to senior level stakeholders and have excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills together.
This is a seven month maternity cover role from mid-September 2017 to mid-April 2018. Our preference is for the post to be based in our Brussels office and the successful candidate must be able to start by Monday 18th September 2017.
