As we expand our global footprint, we seek a dynamic and experienced Business Development Consultant to drive growth in international markets.

 

What you'll do...

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Consultant with a strong background in government contracting and international business development. The consultant will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for Trust in foreign markets, particularly in sectors aligned with our core competencies, such as security services, facilities management, IT, logistics, and professional staffing.

 

Day to day you’ll …

  • Market Expansion Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to expand Trust’s presence in international government contracting markets.
  • Business Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify potential government and international organization contracts, procurement trends, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with international government agencies, embassies, prime contractors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in crafting competitive proposals, responding to international government RFPs, and coordinating bid strategies.
  • Compliance & Regulations: Ensure business development efforts align with U.S. and international government contracting regulations, export controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Networking & Representation: Represent Trust at international trade shows, conferences, and business forums to enhance visibility and partnership opportunities.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and negotiate team agreements, joint ventures, and strategic alliances with international partners and prime contractors.
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue generation and business acquisition in international markets.

 

Qualifications

What you'll bring to the team

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, international relations, or a related field (MBA or equivalent experience preferred).

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within government contracting, with a focus on international markets.
  • Experience in securing international contracts, particularly in security services, logistics, IT, and professional staffing.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of foreign government procurement processes and international trade regulations.
  • Established network of contacts within U.S. and foreign government agencies, embassies, and contracting firms.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements such as ITAR, FCPA, and export control regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Multilingual proficiency is a plus.
